Position Objective:

To plan and execute analyses that are required for client engagements, effectively interact with other team members and client peers to achieve project goals, is the primary focus of the position. Additionally, Senior Consultants supervise and conduct quality assurance for Consultant work products, contribute to client reports and technical memoranda and keep project management apprised of progress. When opportunities present themselves they also assist in setting client expectations and building strong client relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze data and develop analytical models and report findings
• Complete assignments on/in accordance with schedule
• Effectively deal with large volumes of data
• Pursue self development in order to build technical skills
• Develop understanding of industry commercial and regulatory issues
• Connect day to day REG consulting operations with what is important to our clients
• Be an effective team member, which requires taking direction and working to achieve team goals
• Effectively communicate the results of analysis as they relate to the commercial/regulatory issues that are relevant for the client
• Supervise Consultants and provide quality assurance for consultant work products
• Assist Project Manager in preparation of technical reports
• Develop productive relationships with client peers
• Provide insight based on expertise and history of client engagements

Expected Contributions & Outcomes:

This position could be entry level for the right candidate with excellent consulting/ professional services experience and an advanced degree or knowledge of the industry. However, it is more likely that the Senior Consultant was promoted from the consultant role due to extremely successful performance on a series of key projects.

The key deliverable of the Senior Consultant role is technically robust and innovative work products that translate detailed results into value-added insights for clients. The Senior Consultant assists in the development of the Consultants’ technical and consulting skills, assists the project manager in quality assurance and delivery of work products and in understanding and meeting client’s expectations. He/she develops productive relationships with client peers and seeks opportunities to expand REG value added services to clients.
